Olympic Closing Ceremonies
The Paralympics are the second biggest event to ever take place in Vancouver

Did you miss your opportunity to attend the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games? Are you interested in attending the Paralympics opening ceremonies at BC Place stadium next Friday for free? If your answer is yes, you'll be pleased to know we're partnering up with BC Hydro's Power Smart Village to offer up some free tickets.

Our first give-away starts this Monday, March 8th. We'll be offering up 2 pairs of tickets to the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Paralympic Games taking place next Friday. This will then be followed up with a second give-away of two pairs of tickets to the men's sledge hockey gold medal game.

Full details regarding how you can enter will be posted here on Monday, however, we can let you know that all CityCaucus.com Facebook fansTwitter followers and email subscribers are automatically eligible to win. Therefore, if you haven't already signed up, what are you waiting for?

The Power Smart Village remains open to the public straight through until the Paralympic Games are over. Organizers have advised us that on Friday, March 12th from noon to 2 p.m., they plan on having a pick-up sledge hockey game at the Power Smart Village to help kick off the Paralympics. They’ll have the sledges, sticks and balls on site if you want to give it a try. This should be lots of fun.

Tens of thousands of you continue to check out our new Paralymics edition Where 2 Be for Free guide to see what's happening during the upcoming 2010 Paralympics in Vancouver. Tune back here on Monday to find out how you can attend the opening ceremonies...for FREE!

I don't belong to twitter or facebook at this time and don't plan to sign up right now. Do I still have a chance to win tickets? By the way, Could you let everyone know what streets will be closed. Will Granville still be closed? Great job on your website by the way! Bravo for the excellent reporting! Regards Charlene
